Photographing Canaries
Photographing Canaries
The camera (a Canon Rebel with an 18-55mm zoom lens) is put on a tripod and angled slightly so the light doesn't get reflected from the plexiglass back into the camera.
Two lamps with photography spotlights are placed to either side of the box.
First we made a perched box with a plexiglass front. The perch comes towards the camera and the plexiglass front slides up and out - it has been removed for this photo. Blue material is fastened onto the background with velcro.
